D1700M Modbus RTU 15-Bit Digital I/O Module

The Modbus digital I/O Series D1700M modules provide computer monitoring of digital input and digital output signals for control of industrial devices through solid state relays.

The digital inputs accept a wide signal level input, up to +30Vdc without damage, and have TTL logic input switching levels.

The digital outputs are open-collector transistors will sink: 30mA (D1701/D1702), 100mA (D1711/D1712) making them ideal for controlling solid state relays. The status of digital inputs and digital outputs are communicated to any host serial port in ASCII using either RS-232 or RS-485.

The D1711M and D1712M contain an onboard events counter that counts up to 10 million transitions that occur on the digital input. The event counter may be read and cleared by the host computer at any time.

The D1700 and D1700M digital I/O modules can also be mounted on a DIN-Rail using the MK-1 mounting kit.
  D6000 Series Analog and Digital I/O Modules

The D6000 series modules are a complete family of data acquisition modules for use in process control systems. These modules can measure process signals such as thermocouples, 4-20mA current loops, discrete contact closures, and they can generate voltage or current signals for controlling annunciators or valves. The digital input modules sense contacts and the digital output modules can control relays and annunciators.

  D8000 Series USB Digital and Analog I/O Modules

The D8000 USB Data Acquisition modules are a complete family of data acquisition modules for use in process control systems. These modules can measure process signals such as thermocouples, 4-20mA loops, discrete contact closures, and they can generate voltage or current signals for controlling annunciators or valves. The digital input modules sense contacts and the digital output modules can control relays and annunciators.

Modbus Compatibility

The DGH Modbus digital I/O modules are compatible with all commercial software programs and OPC servers that support the Modbus RTU protocol. Commercials software programs from Wonderware, Intellution, National Instruments LabVIEW, and Dasylab all support the Modbus RTU protocol.

Modbus OPC Servers from Kepware and MatrikonOPC can be used to connect with other software programs.

DIN-100 Series Digital I/O Modules

The DIN-100 Modbus data acquisition modules (DAQ) are designed for systems based on the Modbus RTU protocol. The modules convert analog input signals to digital data and transmit via RS485 to a controller which may be a computer or other processor-based equipment. 

The DIN-100 data acquisition modules can measure temperature, load cells, bridges, voltage, current, frequency, as well as digital inputs and digital outputs.

  H1750M Modbus RTU 24-Bit Digital I/O Board

The H1700M series digital I/O products provide direct interface to industry standard solid-state relay mounting racks. Use the H1750M to control twenty four relays on one G4PB24 backplane. Use the H1770M to control up to sixty four relays on four PB16 backplanes.


Multiple H1700M digital I/O boards allow a host computer to control thousands of digital I/O points from one serial port. 

The digital inputs accept signals up to +0-5Vdc without damage and have TTL logic input switching levels. The digital outputs are open-collector transistors will sink: 15mA making them ideal for controlling solid state relays. The status of digital inputs and digital outputs are communicated to any host serial port in ASCII using either RS-232 or RS-485.

The H1700M digital I/O boards are similar to the H1700 Series but communicates using the Modbus RTU protocol.
  H1770M Modbus RTU 64-Bit Digital I/O Board

Many industrial applications require a 'safe' start-up condition to prevent accidents at critical points in the process. Each 1700M contains an initial start-up value which is used to configure the digital outputs on power up. The initial value is use selectable and stored in EEPROM. Since each digital output is automatically configured on start-up, no software initialization routines are required.

The 1700M series contains a user- programmable software timer to provide an orderly shutdown of the output signal in the event of host computer or communications failure.

The H1700M digital I/O boards provide direct interface to industry standard mounting racks and solid-state relays. Industry standard 24 relay mounting racks can be controlled directly with the H1750M or H1770M digital I/O boards.
