Analog Inputs Overview

| Complete
data acquisition modules for systems using personal computers and other
processor-based equipment. All modules provide direct connection to a wide
variety of sensors and perform all signal conditioning, scaling,
linearization, A/D conversion, conversion to engineering units and
communicate in ASCII format via RS232 or RS485 to any host or PLC.

| The D1000 are complete single-channel data acquisition systems that are well suited to applications such as SCADA, data monitoring, data loggers, PLC’s, process controllers and instrumentation. The
D1000 DAS series analog signal input types include Voltage, Current, Temperature, Flow, Bridge and Load Cell.
The
D1000 series converts the digital signal data into engineering units using
look-up tables. The resultant data is stored in a memory buffer. The
module’s ADC continuously converts data at the rate of 8 conversions per
second and stores the latest result in the buffer.
The
single analog input D1000 and D2000 series provides an
isolated 15-bit measurement ADC converter and discrete digital I/O bits for
controlling solid state relays or sensing contact closures. The
D2000 series is an enhanced version of the D1000. See data

The
four analog input D5000 DAS modules provide direct
connection to four analog signals of the same type and range. The ADC
provides conversion and linearization of sensor input data and
communicates in ASCII format via RS232 or RS485.
Users
of the Modbus RTU protocol should consider the 'D1000M' series. The D1000M
series is similar to the D1000 series but communicates using the 'RTU'
version of the Modbus protocol in RS485. The
four analog input D5000M DAS modules provide direct
connection to four analog signals of the same type and range to a
Modbus port or PLC.
DIN-100
series are low cost single analog input modules that are DIN rail
mountable. |
