DGH Analog Inputs
The DGH analog input Sensor to Computer Modules are complete hardware solutions designed for data acquisition systems based on personal computers and other processor-based equipment. The modules are available in both single and four-channel analog input versions. All modules provide direct connection to a wide variety of sensors and perform all signal conditioning, scaling, linearization, A/D conversion and conversion to engineering units. The single analog input D1000 and D2000 series modules operate on a single power supply input from 10 to 30 Vdc. They provide an  isolated 15-bit measurement A/D converter and discrete digital I/O bits for controlling solid state relays or sensing contact closures. The number of digital inputs and outputs varies depending on module type. The module performs A/D conversion and linearization of sensor input data. The module transmits data values in ASCII format to any host computer with a standard RS-232 port. Modbus RTU protocol is widely accepted and supported by all major process control programs. Users of process control software packages or users of Modbus protocol should consider the 'D1000M' series. The D1000M series is similar to the D1000 series modules. The appended letter 'M' means that the module can communicate using the 'RTU' version of the Modbus protocol in RS-485. The D1000M series data sheet contains a complete list of model numbers.  The four analog input D5000 Sensor to Computer Modules are a low-cost measurement solution designed for data acquisition systems based on personal computers and other processor-based equipment. The modules provide direct connection to four analog signals of the same type and range. A/D conversion and linearization of sensor input data is performed with the module and data values are transmitted in ASCII format to any host computer with a standard RS-232 port.
